Today is my first Do it yourself (DIY) blog. Im very enthusiastic about this because i made exfoliating lip scrubs. And the reason im excited about this, is that i wear lipstick all the time, especially at work and the weather here is too hot that makes my lips dry, flaky and chapped which stress me out.
So the entire point of this, is to basically get your lips exfoliated, to make it smooth, moisturized and more kissable. Admit it, we consistently get our whole body exfoliated yet we forget our lips.
This diy lip scrub is uncomplicated to make and you dont need to go out in the store spend gas and pay like hundreds of dollars/pesos to purchase expensive ones, and its really not worth it if you do have all the ingredients at your house.
Lets get started!
1. Brown sugar lip scrub
Things needed:
1 tsp of raw honey
(Honey can lighten, soften your lips and provide a pinkish glow)
1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
(Brown sugar helps elimomate dead cells and dry flakes on your lips and aids in keeping it moisturized)
1 tsp olive oil (you may use coconut oil also)
Container
Bowl
Spoon
How:
Mix all the ingredients together to make a sugary paste. Put in your preferred container and all done.
2. Lip balm scrub

1 stick of old lip balm
(Lip balm provides a very sheer tint and instant long- lasting moisturization and nourishes dry lips.
1 tsp of raw honey
1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
Container
Bowl
Spoon
How:
Get your old lip balm, remove the inside part and mash it in the consistency that you want. Then mix with sugar and honey, and transfer to the container.
3. Cinnamon Lip scrub (Lip plumping scrub)
Things needed:
1 tsp of cinnamon powder
(If you want that Kylie Jenner and Angelina Jolie lips, you can achieve it naturally using this scrub because cinnamon makes your lips plumper, fuller and more pouty)
1 tsp of raw honey
1 1/2 tbsp of brown sugar
1 tsp olive oil (you may use coconut oil also)
Container
Bowl
Spoon
How:
Mix cinnamon powder, brown sugar, honey and olive oil all together. Transfer to the container.
Suggested Usage:
-Gently massage scrub on lips, then tissue off.
-Use up to three times per week.
